The Bookbinding Workshop || May 29th - May 31st
Ever since we open our small Hokkaido inspired bookshop, weāve been talking about this and with much excitement we wanted to say;
Itās here!
You all know whenever you come to Nekoto we talk about the books we love, but also their materials, the beautiful quality of printing, the edges, and everything we do to protect Collectors editions.
All of that itās because, as many of you now Iām a bookstore owner but also I am a binder.
Iām lucky enough to have a bindery area at home to rebind my favourite books (you might have seen one or two rebinds in store š¤āļø)
Itās a part of my life that brings so much joy, and I wish I could do more often.
Weāll learn to rebind your favourite book which you can get through us or bring your own copy.
Weāll talk about paper, special emphasis on Japanese paper.
Materials will be provided in store, and weāll do two sessions per project.
Please make sure you'll be available for both of the dates. If you're not please check the next Workshop dates.Ā
