Kuroneko Cafe is an old-fashioned house overlooking the sea. The taciturn young proprietor, Kage Yanaka, serves Kuroneko snacks. It is a kind of service offered by the funeral service company headed by Kage's sister, Fuka, in which the deceased's "memorable snacks" are served to the invited guests after the funeral ceremony. The service is very popular, but Fuka is worried about her own position as the president of the funeral company.
